Chapter 1: commander Sophie

it was the earl.y hours of the day when news broke of an orc ship being destroyed and the blame was aimed at The ship Sophie had just become the commander of she slept naked and was quickly putting on her commandrs uniform for only the second time. She had no answer for the accusations aimed at her ship. her red hair was in a mess no time to fix it. Her advuser Myra gave her the destails and advice on what to say she also reccomendes swift action aand justice a reccomendation which was swiftly rejected this left Myra annoyed Sophie then remindes Myra that only the Elven Empire council can sentence someone to death and also the lack of named suspect made that impossible even the Elven empire council had to follow the rule of law. This made Myra even more angry and Sophie could not figure out why suely she did not want a potentialy innocent person to receive such penalty

Her advisor walked away wearing a purple dress with fur scarf Sophie was alreasy beginning to question wheather she was the right advisor and wheather her man was myra's son. Jef himself beleived he was but Sophie knew of strong mind controll deugs and Myra's servant Tia also showes symptoms of being drugged. Sophie hated that Myra oranyone weas allowed to have a servant but Tia was half human and half elf most people in her position became servants because they felt that was their only option

With nothing to back these gut feelings she decide nort to share trhem with the Elven empire council when asked instead she just stook to the facts

They communicated with her via a hollographic meeting system the meeting went mostly smoothly it as not until someone noted the lack of progress in finding a suspect and Sophie responding by pointing out that her ship had been singled out without solid evidence bringing ther meeting to a heated ending.

Late at night Sohie was about to turn in when she heared a knock the door Tia wanted to talk to her and wa worried for some reason. Sophie let her in and then Tia begged the commander to let her stay and help her break free from Myra SOphie could not legaly do that infact under Elven law she hd to return her to Myra unlessm she had proof thart Tia had been given drugs agains her will. Sophie took a risk and let Tia stay for the night hoping Myra's response would confirpher suspicions and free Tia from her controll.

This happened but instead of a full release the elven empire only granted a temperary release pending an investigation.
