Chapter 2: A show of power

Drayx Sat on his throne whilst drinking froma gold goblet wearing battle armour as another Orc also dressed for battlo and carrying a weapon approached with cautionhe was about to talk but before he could speak a word Drayx pressed a switch that was on his arm rest "Choose your lasr words" Before the approaching orc could respond it was already too late he fell through a trapdoor into an under water cove with alarge octopus like creature insidethe trap door high above closed as the creature ate him alive to death. Drayx then crossed off a name from a list of traitors.

Drayx was then communicated with the Elven empire demanding Justice. He was quickly reminded that this was thwe one hundreth time that he had contacted the and he himself had also done zero to bring justice. This ld him to terminate communication and throw his goblet of wine to the floor. He was loosing grip of his mind and his controll as his generals watched. They could feel him slip further knowing that every show of power and every execution was a desperate attempt to show tha he was still in controll knowing that anyone of them could be next they decided to bring their plan forward.

This wasx a big risk but doing nothing was an even bigger risk they had seen him execute many of their friends and adding two new names to the list of traitors for every one he crossed out in adesperate attempt to hold on to power her branded everyone a traitor he even used the orc ship destruction as an excuse for his madness all elections whwere repeatedly suspended and the orclegion hac became a dictatorship.

They panned on a risky strike but there was no need Drayx was alreacy dead struck down by the order of assasins and in typical order fashion no one saw the assasin and tha t was because one of them was secretly the assasin and they struck the night before injecting him with a slow poison with no known antidote and in a true show of power they lef t before he took his last breath leaving no evidece and no witness the only one who saw him was the recently condemed which ment he had to die also he wason the mos r wanted list sothe assasin claimed two bounties and no living soul saw their face.

This left the Orc legion without aleader whenit needed one more than ever before they had planned to kill Drayx fo awhile but had no clear plan for life after his death if the y did not come up with one soon they would have live under the rule of the Elves this was something no Orc wanted even Humans had a level of independance and the planet Earth had been dead for a thousand years they blew up their own planet and now was thecause of so many wars and yet had the frteedom of the galaxy this annoyed many but none more than the high ranks of the Orc legion

In their minds the humans should have gone extinctand their continued existance was a danger to all others this feeling was highly popular amongst orcs especialy within the elete members of the orc legion. Most members of the anti human party was mostly made up of members of humans. tghis however was also seen as a stain on orc kind some even went as far as saying that they were just as violent and in some cases worse than humans. There claims had substantial backing too as orcs had been at war with the Elven empire for many years and often engaged in war with each other just a few years before the fall of Earth the Orc legion was at the brink of civil war and self desstruction. and now thy stood in the same room as their dead leader with a power vaccume that needed to be filled
