And the beat goes on.

Young protagonist Tobias Evans is unwillingly thrust into an age old conflict humans have been unaware of for centuries when he only wanted to find his mother amongst the ever growing disappearances in his home city. Though as he comes to find out, various scriptures, hieroglyphs, cave paintings and other myths and lores have proven throughout time that we have encountered what the unwilling hero slowly unravels throughout the story.

Although bothered by the fact he'd be more than willing to be another average person in this chaos he's found himself in, Toby finds himself thrust into a journey to find more than he bargained for.

A test post for a story I'm attempting to write. Constructive criticism is welcome! Title/idea for the story is from Tomorrow Never Comes by VNV Nation.
