Interestingly, there have never been any novels written about Donald Trump, or only novels that contain vague allusions to the dastardly Trump, including #ThePlotAgainstAmerica, by Philip Roth, which, in reality, predates the Trump era.

In composing a query to Bing AI, I quickly discovered that I am the only person (!?!) to have written a fictional work that concerns Donald Trump. Perhaps demonstrating the old axiom that truth is stranger than fiction. Except, in my case, it isn’t. To understand what I mean, please read the novel.

You might also think that the term #pagan has been used to describe Donald Trump much more often than it seems to have been. This, also, is not the case. But I think that this is only in major media outlets, where the word “pagan” is far too inflammatory. I think a greater mystery is just how many evangelical Christians consider trump to be a pagan, but simply don’t care. Perhaps the tide is turning in favor of paganism. But some might argue, no, no, the people you are referring to aren’t Christians, but #MAGA followers, and that there is a profound difference between the two. I would agree, if you define as Christian someone who truly adheres to Christian beliefs, but these so-called Christians do not. Instead, they adhere to #MAGA beliefs and call them Christian beliefs. And because they worship at the feet of Donald Trump, they are, in reality, pagans."

Pagan Worship is a coming of age story about a young man named David, who is at first a negligible figure in his parents’ all-consuming ambition to build an outsize base of Christian power, but who is slowly, while his parents largely ignore him in favor of his younger sister, developing his own strong identity and discovering a world far outside the dumbed-down reportage of Fox News and the strict, right-wing constraints of Orem, Utah, where he lives. But perhaps it would have been better for David if he had allowed himself to remain the same dim bulb his parents consider him to be. For as his discoveries multiply and his awareness grows uglier after seeking greater and more detailed exposure to the larger world, he finds himself increasingly overwhelmed. First, of course, there is Trump and his monstrous reign of lies, ineptitude, and hypocrisies . . .
