My senses suffer the effects of amnesia
Former visions fade as I can't remember the sight of your smile
Nor do I recall the resounding notes in your laughter
Time passes by, and the scent of you no longer lingers about
Lips have forgotten how yours tasted when fused with mine
Gone are the memories of contouring my hands to the shape of your exterior during a warm embrace
My being has been abandoned of your essence
