For not hiding from my pain.

Thanks for feeling my hurt.

Thanks for not being afraid 

Of experiencing my curse.

 

You heard me cry.

You watched me try.

You never sighed,

Just looked in my eyes 

 

And told me 

You’d hold me

Till I knew I was loved.
