Desponia

I woke up to the sound of crows caulking. I was in the middle of nowhere lying on a grassy field.

'How the hell did I get here?' Was the first thing I thought of. Then I remembered…

It was a dark and stormy night. I was in a hurry to get home because it was late. I must’ve not paid attention when I was crossing the road because before I knew it I was lying on the floor, blood everywhere and breathless. The truck driver came out looking worried as hell and bystanders rushed to the scene. The last thing I saw was the half moon.

Did I die? Is this heaven?

It seemed like it was just yesterday she was on earth but now Beatrice found herself in a whole other world, a different dimension.
Now she was an elven person sold to slavery. Adjusting with this situation was not an option.
Beatrice faces hardships,searches for acquaintances or rather friends, but still she feels there's more to it than this life.
How was she brought here? Why was she brought here? Who brought her here?
Beatrice has to stop slaving away before she answers these questions. After some daring deeds Beatrice discovers something about herself. 'maybe she was given a cheat code'.
Taking on a new identity, Desponia. Beatrice learns, observes and fights to get stronger with the support and help from her best friend Athen (who is a mystery herself). Except this time she would be a hero and stop the terrible injustice going on in the kingdom. To abolish slavery but one thing leads to another and that can't be her only goal anymore.
Beatrice by day Desponia by night. This is a story about Desponia on a quest for survival, growth, magic, a bit of love and empires. And a certain goddess who has some explaining to do.
