Sweet and Sour: Christmas

Today is Christmas! The day families come together to eat a delicious meal in the dining room, as the home is filled with lots of laughter, fun and conversations. But there was one individual that wasn't in a festive mood today. It's the little boy that went around his neighborhood handing out candies to his neighbors. He was still feeling sad and disappointed that his neighbors didn't appreciate his generosity and goodwill. The doorbell rang. The boy rushed downstairs to answer it. It's grandma and grandpa! He gave a big hug to the both of them and invited them inside the house. The boy loved his grandparents a lot because they were the ones who inspired him to live a life with a generous spirit. While his mom and grandparents were busy cooking dinner for them to eat, the boy came up with an idea and ran back upstairs to his bedroom. He opened his closet door and took out the Santa Claus costume he asked his mom to get for him a few weeks ago. Then, he went around his room collecting the candies he put inside small containers and placed them inside a brown bag. His mom called him from downstairs, telling him that dinner is ready. He ran downstairs and gave grandma and grandpa his best imitation of Santa Claus. They laughed and smiled, enjoying every second of it. He gave them the bag of candies and his grandparents thanked him for giving them a gift while smothering him in a big hug. As he sat at the table eating the food that his family cooked, that's when the boy decided that he would be Santa Claus to his grandparents. Giving them candies each year when they come to visit him and his mom.
