In the ground, resting in my grave,
Nothing more from life can I crave.
Isolate my soul to a remote cell,
Reunifying with family would be hell.
In reuniting, such a torment would bring,
A bittersweet ache, and dissenting zing.
Its in this solitude I shall find my peace,
A respite from the world's ceaseless pace.
In silent whispers of the earth's embrace,
A solemn refuge, a sacred space.
My corpse, buried in it's eternal rest,
As mourners' hearts find solace blessed.
For in this hallowed, sanctified ground,
A peace profound is sure to be found.
No more to yearn, no more to roam,
In this burial place, is my eternal home.
