I thought I had prepared myself properly for the inevitable headache my overzealous devouring of the frozen treat would bring, but my machine like scooping of the French Vanilla revealed a horrific surprise. Barely visible through the cream colored mounds of diet wrecking calories emerged six tiny legs. Suddenly the dessert developed a new flavor. No longer could I taste the cold sweetness of dairy delight, but rather the two missing arachnid legs I may or may have not devoured!

Eek, I can relate to this. My daughter once discovered a live earwig in the bottom of her ice cream cone. Yuck. I would suggest you consider making the title less overt - something like Ice Cream Surprise so that you can properly shock the reader.
