Kieran phased through the crowd, pulling a child to safety, while Livia sent a wave of calm through the panicked onlookers. The bus crashed harmlessly into a barrier, and the children were safe.

The siblings barely had time to breathe before they realized their mistake—security drones hovered nearby, their cameras whirring. A few moments later, the distinct hum of an enforcement squad filled the air.

At home, Daniel and Elara knew their time had run out. Their children had been caught on surveillance using abilities no human should possess. The family had a choice: flee or face the consequences.

Elara, with a brief glimpse into the future, saw their capture looming if they stayed. "We need to leave—now."

Daniel activated a hidden chamber beneath their house, revealing a long-forgotten escape route. It led to an underground network of individuals like them—people who had been forced to abandon their lives to survive.
