Where My Soul Connects
They can have their system, and their capital gains
I'd rather dance with wisdom, and be drenched in torrential rains
They can fight for dominance, and their unearned respect,
but my peace within is prominent, so I live wherever my soul connects
They can keep their apologies, and the insincerity attached
I only live by my own ideologies, and honor whatever my spirit attracts
They can lie to humanity, while keeping their ill intentions,
but I'd rather have my sanity, than open myself up to negative attention
They can break the world, and leave it with many bad effects,
but I am a diamond who'll still find a pearl, because I'll always go wherever my soul connects
