Chapter 3: 3

“Wake up or I am going to tell your dad that you are not waking up to go to school”
“Mom, just one more minute. I will wake up after sleeping for a few more minutes I promise.”
I had not even reached the last step of stairs when I heard that. It must be my little brother who is not waking up for school. I have four siblings. I am the oldest one and the one Mom is currently trying to wake up is the youngest one. My other two siblings, one sister and one brother, have already gone to their respective schools. I am proud that those two are more like me, always active.
“Sit on the table Jack, I will bring your breakfast in a moment”.
“As you say, Mom”.
I sat on the table and started using my laptop. I listened to a few songs. I always listen to songs when I am taking my breakfast. I mostly listen to English songs.  I try to pick songs that are straightforward and not too deep because I don't want to ruin my breakfast by getting lost in argument with that thing. You have met him, don’t you? He always tries to contradict him and always tries to help me. How he helps me will become known to you soon.
“Here’s your breakfast and your tea”.
“I appreciate that, Mom”.
“It's too early to be joking like that.”
I took my breakfast and went to the college.
