The Silent Frame: Act I: The Forgotten Man Ethan awakens In the middle of a dense, fog laden forest, his mind fogged, cuts on his face and arms, dirtied pants and shirt. The shivering air makes him shiver, hearing just the sound of leaves rustling. He stumbles, ankle on the right foot feeling weak, disoriented, head spinning. He then calls out weakened voice, "h-h-help!" "h-help!", but no one answers. Searching in his pockets he finds a id under the name "Ethan Langsberry", He trys to remember his past but nothing pops into his fogged mind. Pain tightens his chest in a panic realizing he needs to keep walking hoping to find help. As he goes deeper into the woods he discovers a old cabin, wood is stained, inside a horrid smell catches his attention, as he trys walking further in, a pool of dried blood is laying by a dead body disfigured face with a VHS tape in the mouth, the body was laid out like a angel. Ethan recoils gagging while turning his head away walking out of the cabin. "What the fuck there is a dead body" "I have to find help" "I might be next". As he decides to try to venture further in the woods he finds a journal titled, "Ethan" In the book is a bunch of words "TRAPPED" "RUNNING" "HELP". Ethan in a complete shock, "What is going on"? , "am I really dead". Act II: The Phantom Trail As he goes further in the woods, he stumbles across a old looking town. As he sees a man that is in a sheriff's uniform, he says " please sir, I need help, there was a dead body, and I woke up in the woods h-help me..." " Calm down son, let's get you inside. They walk inside a old looking police station, Ethan sits down on a rusty chair and explains, " I woke up in the forest and only had a ID on me that said Ethan Langsberry on it, The sheriff asks " can I see that id," sure here", he hands him the id. The sheriff looks at it and back at him and says,"okay my name is Samuel I will try to help you the best I can," But something isn't... A girl Claire walks in before Samuel can finish talking. Claire, Hi what's going on? " Noticing Ethan, hey is he okay looks roughed up, wait did he come out of the woods, because I have been investigating the last people that went missing in those woods, but I don't recognize him." Ethan, " wait I found a cabin and inside was a dead body with a VHS tape in their mouth." "Wait what are the names of the people missing"? Checking the names she is shocked to see Ethan Langsberry was on there". "Your on here but you don't remember anything right"? "No I don't so what the hell, I am not from here because you don't recognize me so maybe I was kidnapped somewhere else." "How am I still alive even if I am?" Ethan turns his head seeing something that sends him into complete disbelief, on the wall of the town in the police station were the names and pictures of all the people that went missing and there were six, Claire burman, Samuel Garland, Mark Hoffman, Ethan Langsberry, joy marksman, Cindy Kurt. "Wait w-what none of this is real"? Act III: The Silent Frame Ethan turns around seeing everyone he talked too has vanished, head spinning trying to put the pieces together realizes he needs to go back to the cabin and watch the VHS tape maybe giving him the complete truth. Ethan traces his steps back to the cabin. Walking in grabs the VHS tape from the victims mouth, inserts it into the VCR in the living room with a old box TV, the VHS plays showing the words " victim I" a video of a masked man holding a knife starting to stab the victim in the face, now standing there motionless removes the mask then the killer says " Josh, saved you from hell". Flashes of darkness, bloodied hands fill Ethan's head and reveals Ethan is a alternate personality of Josh. Josh snaps back in with a grinning smile. "My angel", he then walks behind the cabin and gets in the car behind there, grabs the keys from the cars seat, starts the car and heads down the road nearby. A hitchhiker walks down and he stops and rolls down the window, " Hi am Josh, need a ride?"
