My mom was told she might have cancer, and it took a tole on me until the results came back. On the outside I did responded and I was calm, but on the inside it was really hard.

You argue, fuss, yell, and tell her she is the worst, but at the end of the day you wouldnt know your place in the world without her. You try not to think of the worst, but you can't help it. She's your mom! You don't know how to live, or even breathe without her. She gave you a life, and everything you have, know, and own. You  may not be blood but that doesn't matter because again she is your mom and that's and that's all that matters.

When she tells you she may have cancer you take the news well. At least on the outside, but on the inside you just wanna break down. You wanna scream, cry, and yell. You wanna ask god why? Why her? Why my mom? She is the best person ever!  She is the strongest, most caring person you have ever met but she is the one who gets punished. It's not far, lifes far. You wish you could take the pain, worry, and suffering away from her but you can't. You have no control over anything and you feel helpless. You can't be as calm as her while she waits for the biopsy day. It's just not possible. How is she so strong during one of the scariest times of her life? You don't understand it. You don't understand how or why. You don't understand the point of making her surfer. Shouldn't god help those who obey and follow his path? But he's not. You want him to help her and take away the pain but he wont.

You don't know how you would survive without her, and you can't even think of it. She is everything to you. She is the one who has raised you, who has taught you to respect others, she is the reason you have succeeded in everything you have. She is the reason you are Della, and why you are at home and not in a mental hospital. That's why. She was the one who helped you through your whole mental health journey. She is your hero, your saver, and your everything.
