My Life Story

Hello my name is Della and today I am going to tell you about my life story. I was born in (rome ga). When I was first born I was able to stay with my mom for a little bit but I was taken away from her because she was on drugs and was a Alcoholic. She and my dad  would be making drugs in the house. They burned down the house with me and my brother in it. After that  me and my four year old brother were in foster care. When my brother was talking to the dcfs provider he was trying to convince them that he was my father and had already made my bottles. I love my brother to death because even though he was only four he took care of me, and made sure I had  everything I needed. If he couldn't get food for both or even couldn't find food he would dig through the trash.and at least find something for me. Me and my brother went from home to home in foster care  until I was four and he was six  we went into this home crystal and lee puckett. When I first went into the home I remember thinking, is this my forever home? My first words at this home were " are you the mom and dad?" In 2015 I was adopted and I knew I could finally call Crystal and Lee  AKA mom and dad. Still to this day I am in this home and I love it. We are  a happy little family. Later on in life my grandmother moved in. We take care of her. She has   Dementia. If you don't know what dementia is, it is an illness where you can't really do anything. Half the time you will not be able to do anything, you might even have memory loss. On January 1 ,2023 I was intimidated into the mental hospital. In the month of January I was sent to the mental hospital 3 times. The reason why I am writing this is because We need to be strong and stand up for ourselves. We can do so many things through Christ who gives us strength. We can do endless things! We are strong and beautiful.
