Backstory: The Creation of Crayonville
Jax was never one to stay quiet for long, often breaking into silly songs about crayons, pencils, and whatever adventure they found themselves in. His most famous tune, sung at the most unexpected moments, went:
"Colour bright, colour bold, mix it up, let’s break the mould! Crayons here, pencils there. Let’s spread colour everywhere!"

Whether they were sneaking through the alleyways or dodging rogue erasers, Jax's songs became the soundtrack to their adventures, much to Roxanne's amusement—and occasional exasperation.
Roxanne and Jax became colouring friends most unexpectedly. One day, while Roxanne was experimenting with new colour blends near the Waxworks Bridge, Jax, ever the mischievous pencil-eating troll, accidentally knocked over a bucket of melted crayon wax—right onto himself. Instead of getting upset, Roxanne laughed and helped Jax clean up, showing him how to mix colours properly instead of devouring them. From that day on, they became an inseparable duo, exploring Crayonville together, solving mysteries, and creating vibrant new colours wherever they went.
Lilly, a purple unicorn, was Roxanne’s most cherished gift, given to her on her birthday. They became inseparable from the moment Roxanne unwrapped the soft, shimmering unicorn. Whether exploring the colourful streets of Crayonville or uncovering hidden mysteries, Lilly was always by Roxanne’s side, offering comfort, adventure, and a reminder of the magic friendship could bring. Found as a simple, unmarked crayon buried deep in the Crayon Mines, Lilly was different from any other Crayoneer. Unlike the vibrant, defined hues of Crayonville’s residents, Lilly’s colour shifted unpredictably, never settling into one shade. At first, Roxanne kept Lilly as a curiosity, unaware of the deeper magic hidden within. But the two became inseparable over time—Lilly was not just another colour in Crayonville, but something unique, a connection to a forgotten past that neither fully understood.
Long before the bustling streets, towering waxy buildings, and vibrant Crayoneers of Crayonville came to be the world was nothing more than a blank canvas. The Artist, a mysterious and powerful creator, wielded The Great Box of Colours, a legendary set of crayons capable of bringing life to even the emptiest spaces. With careful strokes and sweeping motions, the Artist crafted a town bursting with hues, where every colour had a purpose, and every shade was celebrated.
But not all creations were meant to remain.
In the earliest days, Crayonville was not just a town of colours. The artist first experimented with sketches, using fine pencil lines to lay the foundation. These early figures, half-formed and uncertain, existed in the margins of creation—until the Artist believed them unworthy of the final masterpiece. One by one, the sketches were erased, their graphite lines fading into nothingness, making way for the colourful world that followed.
Yet, whispers of those erased beings lingered. Legends spoke of forgotten figures lost in the void beyond Crayonville, waiting for the day they would be remembered again. As time passed, the Crayoneers flourished, blissfully unaware of the past buried beneath their vibrant streets.
Now, something stirs beneath the layers of wax and colour. Faint lines reappear in the shadows of alleyways, and whispers of unfinished creations echo in the wind. The erased world is pushing back, and soon, Crayonville will have to face the truth—its history was never meant to be forgotten.
