About
I'm a published writer (Where the Mesquite Tree Grows). I am American-Mexican, retired, and enjoy writing and sharing my daily throughs (prose, poetry, and commentary). My commentary appears periodically in my local newspaper. And, to be quite frank, I fancy myself to be a "common-man" political satirist. You be the judge.
My writings are original (and unedited) compositions, usually written and completed moments before they are posted. Accordingly, you may find a word or two out of context or even misspellings. I prefer not to languish over my writing by rewriting and/or polishing it, but prefer readers to see, feel and experience my unfiltered/unedited thought, warts and all.
And yes, you're right. I do go back and read my writing after I've posted it or sent it out, and I do find that I could have used different words, phrases or imagery, but in th end, I am usually pleased with my original, spur-of-the-moment, unedited wrtings that I share with other writers.
You be the judge, and the jury, and decide for yourself . . .
Thanks for allowing me to be me, and to share my thoughts which flood my mind . . .
