Hello my name is vickie.

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother. So very proud of that. I got into writing when I joined booksie over six years ago. I love writing poetry, short stories, and an occassional novel. Let's face it..I'm a poetess, not a novelist.

I learned a lot about writing while i've been here, thank you fans...

I'm also an avid reader, and honest critic. So don't hate me if my honesty hurts anyone, especially poetry. I love all styles of poetry, and have held numerous poetry contests. You can blame me for the new contest tab we are enjoying, and I'm thrilled that booksieguy didn't waste any time giving us one." I'm ranting, aren't I? "
