11 New Releases for Bookbot (pets, creepy crawlies, and science!)

Bel here, just wanting to let you know that we have 11 new titles for Bookbot!

We have 7 titles in our non-fiction for younger readers: Cats, Kittens, Dogs, Pups, Insects, Caterpillars, Insects, and Hats! Each of these titles is available in three different sets so that we can make them accessible to more of our little readers. They are packed with photos and drawings that will help readers to understand the context of the words and get them talking around the topic.

For older readers, we have two new issues of the Forbidden Book Club series. This time the gang explore a grief-ridden town with a peculiar tradition in The Bowerbird Blues and head into the bush to follow a strange phenomenon in The Min Min Lights. We also have two titles in the Little Books of Big Facts series, one on Biology and the other on Physics. These science titles are available over three sets, and each one breaks down twelve concepts over easy to read, question-based pages.

For more information you can head over to our blog post or get stuck straight into our new releases. I look forward to sharing more titles with you next month.

Happy reading,

  • Bel

About

My name is Bel, and I work on the written content for our Bookbot stories. My background is in creative writing, and I have a PhD. from the Queensland University of Technology where I focused on Children’s and Young Adult Literature.

I have always been a big lover of picture books, with some of my favourite authors being Jon Klassen, Mo Willems, Peter Brown, and Adam Rubin. I also love YA series, such as Mortal Engines by Philip Reeve, the Books of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau, and His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. I adore both writing and reading fantasy and science fiction. I hope that through my works I can give others the sense of joy and wonder that I experience when I read.

You can download more of my collection of free books for kids here.
