They set off with 8 children for a week camp.

They were high up on the mountain on a flat piece of ground. The main tent was erected. Only the small ones had to be done. Eight tents--four on the left and four on the right. It didn't take long to set them up with the help of those who would occupy them. There were four boys the age of 4 to 7. The same with the girls. Each child had a small pack with all the things they would need for a week. Instructions were given to them of what was going to take place.

There were amongst the boys, James, Charles, Eric and Harry. Amongst the girls were Mary, Lisa, Elizabeth and Betty. From where they were situated the sea could be seen, and all around was beautiful.

When the children got up every morning thewy had to go to the washing-up area, brush their teeth, and clean their faces. Then they had to make sure they put on the right clothing for that day and report to the main tent. A boy and a girl were put in charge for the day. They were to see that the other children behave themselves, and get to the places they had to get to on time. At 09.00 am all were to be in the main tent where information will be given out on what would take place for that day. There was alswo talk on responsibility, working together in harmony and enjoying it.

Security was also talked upon. It was very important to be secure no matter where you are. The camping staff consisted of a doctor, a sports physical trainer, a teacher and a psychologist. The staff learned that James the four year-old was very intelligent. He knew quite a lot about God, and he was very musical. James got on well with all the others.

On the second day in the morning, James was missing. The whole camp was searched, but there was no sign of him. About two kilometres down below was a farm. They looked there as well, but still no sign. The above was a peak of the mountain with a marker stone. There they found James, head bowed down, and both hands clasped. They were glad that they had found him. Later, he was scolded for leaving camp and not telling anyone where he was going.

The End.
