My name is Dane Trotter. As of around five months ago (in August, 2010) I am fifteen. I love to read books, and I am especially interested in writing them too. My favourite genre of book has to be Fantasy. I have many reasons, but the one at the front of my mind (as it is for many things) is vampires. I love to read about vampires, and especially vampire romances like the hit teen book saga, the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer. I am in love with that saga, and I've read it fourteen times now (I mean the whole saga. And yes, I have counted...)

 I also like the fantasy genre because I like to think there is a different world with powers and things like that. I would love to be a vampire, or  a warlock, primeraly for the feeling of power. I'd love the sort of power they have over the human species --not that I want to go around biting people, or throwing hexes out at them--, but I'd just love to be different in a way so awesome as fantasy-ness.

 I have currently finished two books. My favourite one is called 'the Darker Side of Light', (you can read it here), and here's the blurb:

 My other book is called 'How It Happened: Jay Hale'. It's a spin off of another book, called 'Vampire Mansion'. That book was started by someone else, and it is a collaborative, and everyone who participated had to write their character's background story, and here it is. How It Happened: Jay Hale.
