Dream You To Life

A smile plays at my lips

Your hand brushes my fingertips

You curl your fingers around mine

And suddenly we're lost to the hands of time

When I lift my palm from where we lay

You do the same and meet me half way

Then turn and hover over me

Thats when finally I begin to see

Intense love that mirrors my eyes

But unlike mine, your soul has no rainy skies

You lean forward and kiss me slow

I know you now, together we flow

Your hands stroke and caress

Till to ecstasy I blissfully confess

I'm ready and I know you are too

So you ease into me when I say, 'I do'

All I feel is you above

We're moving to the rhythm of love

A rhythm made for two

A rhythm made for me and you

I touch my peak and surrender my all

Seconds later you cum and on me you fall

My breaths reach out and mingle with yours

Then with the night air away they sour

You roll over onto my side

If I said I was okay it'd be a lie

Only three words, eight letters fit the moment

So I say, 'I love you' so that they're spoken

You slide your arm around my waist

I kiss your lips and tears I taste

I know they're mine because I cried

When you entered me and made me feel alive

I move away but you pull me near

Chase away the pain till theres nothing to fear

You and I are shadows of the night

When I lay down my head and dream you to life

I wish I could write poetry. It is an art, like drawing, that I've always admired from afar. You got it! I liked this a lot, particularly how sweet it is while also touching upon sexuality in a tasteful way. The poetry is deep, and the rhyme and rythm flows but...well I just can't get past this one line. the part about him cumming...well it is fairly obvious the whole poem what you are talking about but the way you danced around the actual fact with colorful wording was beautiful...then you come out blatantly with cum....I just don't like the way the word sounds with the rest of the poem...You have amazing talent, but I wouldn't have used the word cum....its just so colloquial and...kinda gross lol
