About
I've always enjoyed writing, even at school where the English teacher hated my use of slang in my essays. To me, writing should try and be as real as reality, so words used should be the ones that people use in normal daily life. My rather posh English teacher didn't quite agree with this!
Leaving school, I joined the British Army and served 14 years, working in various parts of the world and seeing a little action. Early in 1991 I became a civilian and joined a German engineering company, a job that also took me around the globe a little, living in South Africa, Dubai, Australia, Austria and Germany. Many of the story lines in my books come from things I experienced during this phase of my life.
I published my first novel, BEAT THE CLOCK, back in 2013, and tend to manage 2-3 a year. My latest one is just a couple of months old - PRIVATE WAR - and forms the 7th book in a series of action/adventure novels.
The next one is less than a month from release, an autobiography called SOLDIER SALESMAN STORYTELLER. Out 14th December, with Pre-Order available now with Amazon!
