Hi Everyone..My name is MsGloria and I recently joined Booksie. I am 73 years young and I created the Sci-fi Hub as a place where everyone is welcome to join in on discussions that I will be presenting each month on various topics.

Now, I know some people get touchy when it comes to their belief systems, but my number 1 rule on this site is to keep all comments respectful and courteous. We will agree to disagree and just keep it pushing. No long debates. Just present why you believe as you do. 

My first topic is what or who is God? Anyone can leave a comment. I'll start with a definition of God that I found online from The Minds Journal.

God is consciousness...not a creator. God is the source of creation itself. It (not he or she) IT is not independent of you. It is totality of everything. So when I call myself God, I am not talking about my personal self. I am talking about the expression of the God self that rests inside of me. The verb...the ENERGY...not the noun. Once you think God is a noun, person, place, or thing, you separate yourself from It and immediately become a limited being. That's what separates the believers (religion) from the knowers (spiritual). 

I didn't write,it, but I agree with it because having studied religion and spirituality for over 30 years, it makes the most logical sence to me. What do you guys think? Discussion is open.
