I’ll Do It

I’ll do it.

I don’t know why 

But I’ll do it 

Because I’d rather obey you

Than demand knowledge.

I’d rather trust you

Than limit your power because of my limited expectations.

So, I’ll do it.

God I don’t know why.

I’ve never known why.

But I’ve always known when it was right.

You’ve always spoken to me what was right.

And I believe that my submission to you is what makes me safe.

When I give you control

Darkness can’t control me.

Here I am 

Shining bright.
