Holshue House will continue
Dear Readers,
I am sorry that I seemed to have abandoned my current book, Holshue House. But this is not the case. Although my teaching job has prevented me from giving much time to my writing these passt few months, I fully intend to finish this book.and I am posting another chapter this evening. I hope to be able to continue to see this one to the end.
So thank you, my loyal fans who keep reading what I write. You're what makes this whole experience so rewarding.

Dear Readers, my favorite people,
I'm sorry to do this to you, but I have had to make changes to the first four chapters of Holshue House, chapters which I have already published. For one thing, in the very first paragraph I had foreshadowing of the ending, but now that ending has changed, so I needed to remove that. I also felt that I needed to work more with the separation between Allison and the spider who now lives within her. At the same time there was a need to lay the background of their respective characters in a way that more completely explains their actions in the rest of the story.
At this point I have re-written the first chapter and I'm working on version two of the next three chapters, although the basic plot of these chapters will stay the same.
If you've already read those chapters it's okay, because none of this will change that part of the plot.
I hope that you enjoy the story.
And again, thanks for reading,
Je
Dear Readers,
As always, thank you for reading my stuff. It means more than you can ever imagine to have you out there, and even though I have never met any of you, I feel like we are connected.
Just now I have published the fiftieth and final chapter of Fishing for Quantum Truth, so the book is complete. If I were to eventually do another re-write of the book I think that it would only be to let the personalities of Andrew and Gnat come through more in the early parts of the book, but I am not intending to do that, at least not any time soon, so the book is complete.
Now I will be silent for a little while. I wanted to tell you because I know that there are a few of you who have gotten used to my every day or every other day posting of chapters. I will be silent for a while, but it does not mean I am not writing. It's just that my next book is not yet to the point where I am ready to start posting chapters. I hope to have something more for you by sometime in May.
In the meantime, thank you again. Read on!

Dear Readers:
I love you. This whole experience is so much more rewarding than what I endured back in my teens when I would send off stories to magazines (print-on-paper magazines, the only kind that existed back then) only to receive rejection letters a few weeks later. Now I am writing, and people are reading. You're wonderful! Thank you for reading.
I have just posted the first five chapters of a fifty chapter novel I have written, which is a mixture of science fiction and crime-mystery, with a little romance thrown in as well. The work is not ready to be shared in its entirity as it still needs work, but I wanted to share this much.
Please comment. Click the like if you like it, say wonderful things, or tell me why you think it is a bumch of crap. I've been doing this for nearly nine months now. I have nearly 3,000 reads, but there have been very few comments, which is fine. I can't force you to say anything, but all the same, I would love to hear something from time to time.
And once again, thank you for reading.
JE
Dear Readers, my most favorite people in the world,
I have been quite quiet on here these past three or four months, and I didn't want you to think that I have stopped writing. I haven't. I can't. I won't.
The truth is that for some time now I have been working on multiple bigger "projects." Okay, they're books, novels, although that somehow sounds pretentious. Five of them in various stages of undress, still struggling to come alive.
But the news here is that one of these, Girls, They Crazy, is finally nearly ready to be published here. I have set the other four aside these past six weeks and focused just on this one to bring it to this stage. It's a little too long to qualitfy as a novella, so I guess that makes it a novel. It's about a couple of kids, growing up in a trailer court and learning about the grown-up world.
It should be up in the next couple of days. I hope you enjoy it, and as always, I welcome your comments.
JE
About
I have been a writer since I was fifteen, and earned a degree in English Literature from Ohio University at the end of the 70's. But then I went into the dark labrynth of technology and, after earning a couple of uninteresting additional degrees, did an entire career as a computer science professor. Now, the kids are grown, I am now retired from my teaching work, and I have allowed myself to come out into the open with my writing. I live with my wife, two dogs and two cats in a small town just outside of Columbus, Ohio.
