About

You have to evolve for yourself a style which maybe called entirely your own. I like to foment something you can't quite put your finger on. It's about dancing with sensibilities.

I refuse to give the reader a Dulux-painted world. I'd much rather smash their face against a wall, then ask if they still believe in love, peace and happiness. Make no attempt to improve on the creatures of nature - Man is a creature and he is doomed!

Speak now or forever hold your peace - yeah, pretty much sums up the pliant subordinate attitude of the last two years!

Anglers love the thrill of hooking a fish, where as I love the thrill of waiting oh-so-patiently for the sucker who smells the bait.

Piers Morgan admitted: "I hate the fact Myra Hindley has become a feminist icon for Caitlyn Jenner. I'm so jealous. When exactly did views become so inverted?"

Everything is DEBUNKED by "fact-checkers" who just need to debunk themselves.

The problem with sanctimony is that it's partial and wholly ignorant of somebody else's moral superiority.

I cannot be alone in this: you only have to clear your throat in public and considered a threat to national security.

What did people do on Christmas day in the UK? They queued up in the rain to get their booster jabs - perhaps the worst example of "behaviour reframing" I've ever seen.

It's very unwise to ask the government to manage your life - not one politician has ever helped a single person.

We have to find out what happened between the first four weeks and the past four weeks. This offense isn't as productive. We have the same people, but we're not clicking.

- Chris Morris

One must never compromise with tyrants. One can only strike at kings through the head. [. . .] I vote for the death of a king.

- Georges Danton

Science should exist for the good of humanity . . . not for the good of science.

- Barry Long

We execute wasps because they sting us.

- Sir Peregrine Worsthorne interviewed on Brass Eye
