I am an amateur writer. I've written a lot of poetry in my younger years (18 - 30) and then I stopped. I've written a handful of poems between 30 and 62. This year I found Booksie, and I've begun writing again. I've actually begun to write short stories. My goal is NOT to become rich and famous, but rather, just to publish something. Maybe a book of poems, or a book of short stories, or .... who knows, maybe a novel. And, if you get something out of my writing, then all the better.
The sky is the limit when you work at something. So .... practice...practice ..practice.
