The cinematic "Amapanstula Ajabulile" expected to revive a forgotten culture in Soweto!
The triple certified gold status writer and film director "Kutlwano Christian-Tripp Moloi" is rumoured to be working on new cinematic three episode series titled "Amapanstula Ajabulile". A narrative based on the Pantsula Culture in South Africa about how it originated in the ghetto townships of Soweto, and why it was used as a form of expression in the Apartheid era. A series about subordination and an urge to escape emotional segregation because of cultural enslavement imposed by a society. In collaboration with the media company VISION PRODUCTIONS, the series is expected to premiere in the winter of 2021 - It explores how Pantsula was used as an expression of resistance during the political struggle that was occurring against the apartheid government, as well as being used to spread awareness about social issues such as AIDS and extreme poverty.
