And then you became my addiction
With every passing night
Your tuneful toxic presence
Made away with my heart, with all its might-

Wondered if I could live my life on your lips
Cherish every moment
Lock all the insecurities
And slaughter every torment-

Your gentle hands were then in mine
The gaps were filled to their wholes
The warmth and softness
Spawned from your romantic hold-

Your mystic eyes drew me to your oceans
What to call it, free-fallen or I dived?
Oh where’s your gaze gone?
Why’s your oceans dried?

Striding with you under the light of stars
Our soul intertwined
Your hands cupping my face
And your lips living on line-up

My cheek pressed against yours
Motivated our trances to the eternal heights
Yes I confessed my love
Walking with you under the Veil of Light-

Now here I am wondering
With you, nowhere in the sight
If our love was self-styled
A misery or a might?

Heartfelt words, Rehmat. A sad, yet beautiful read.

It's when love becomes a ghost. You can only feel a presence that once existed, and it is cold, and haunting. Each day passes and the days feel empty. A lot of sadness here Rehmat. The last line says it all, because it is misery. An excellent write, great choice of words, and pure emotion. Well done Rehmat.
