About

Olga Possokhova was born on December 7, 1986 in Astana, Kazakhstan. She started writing poems at the age of 12. The first time her poems in Russian language were published in 2004 in one local newspaper and received loud reactions from other poets. In 2006 she moved to New York, where she started writing in English. In 2009 she went back to her country. In June of 2012 she received her bachelor's degree in Translation Studies successfully introducing her translation of the poem by R.Kipling "Ïf" to the Committee of the Turan University. In 2013 her  poems were recognized by one of the greatest Kazakh poets - Fariza Ongarsynova (1939-2014), therefore they got published in the National Literature journal "Tumar" in Astana, Kazakhstan. 

Olga Possokhova is the author of more than 200 works in Russian and English languages; she lives in the Kingdom of Netherlands and keeps writing. Her first book of poetry will be published soon...
