About

Hello everyone and welcome to my profile!

Please give suggestions on what you would like to read!

I'm ready to read and comment on your work.

How you can call me?

Roman Boukreev it is my real name and I’m from Russia. In Russia, we also have patronymic (name your daddy). My patronymic is Viktorovich (of Viktor). Officially (legal and so on), we use form [first name] [patronymic] [second name], according to this my full name is Roman Viktorovich Boukreev. However, in everyday life, we usually don't using patronymics. All Russian names have diminutives (short versions). My diminutive is Roma pronounced with “a” like the city of Rome (not “romance”).

Also, I have a nickname "rendensh". It is based on an English word render and typical colloqual Russian middle name (according to, it will be correct renderovich, colloqual rendench). For example, correct middle name is Mikhaylovich (of Mikhail), but colloqual is Mikhalych. Some middle names have not colloquals, for example my middle name. Viktorych makes no sense.

You can use Roman, Roma, Roman Boukreev or rendensh. If you use Roman Viktorovich Boukreev, you will be very official, although it can use, if you want to.

What am I writing about?

I’m very interesting in writing about the Russian musical area. The first novel (Tvoya Mery) is written in Russian about 2013. Your Merry girl is the same novel, but in English. In my novels, I take the real music person and mix them with fictitious characters. I was interested in book about the Old Russians (Drevnyaya Rus), I did not do it because it is very old history, it need the other approach.

My other interests:

I'm interested in cultures that are different from my own. For example, I am very interested in English-speaking (UK, U.S., Canada), Arabic and culture of modern France. I do not think that an enemy culture exists. It all depends on the individual. Also, I want to represent my culture through translation. I try to learn languages (including English, because it is not my mother tongue). I want to translate my thoughts to several languages (including English and in the future to French, Polish and Arabic). Russia is not your enemy, this is a two sided political propaganda of usurped interests.

I enjoy playing the guitar, piano and create tracks using the computer. Music is a big deal to me as well. I have volunteered in Russian websites that help assist suicide. I closed more than 200 illegal Russian-speaking suicidal forums, communities of social media and so on.

Also, I have amateur interests in the personal and clinical psychology area. For example, I don’t believe in simple reasoning about personality, so people that commit suicide are a combination of complicated factors which are unique for every person. It would be very pointless to blame them in shortcomings of upbringing.
