About
I am a mystery. That's the only clue I'll give about me. About me as a reader, however, (for I am a reader, but I am other things as well) I can tell you more...
Useful Information:
FYI: I'm still alive!
As far as writing goes, here's a bit about my style:
I try to change it up now and then, but more than anything, I like to keep people guessing. My writing usually includes a lot of metaphors, descriptions, and reading between the lines. In fact, I'll often just not tell you the big SURPRISE of what's actually going on. I just like it better that way, when the truth is only noticeable to the trained eye. You are always welcome to speculate, ask questions, suggest changes, or point out things that are just plain wrong, aha. In fact, I adore constructive criticism, so bring it on.
My favourite books are a long list, but here's a few. They're not really in a particular order (except number one is really my number one):
I have read 195 books, that I know of. My goal is 1000 before I die.
My Reading list (in no particular order). I'm also reading some stuff on here, but it gets confusing to write all that...
- The Bible (this will always be on my reading list :P)
- The Fellowship of the Ring - J. R. R. Tolkien
- A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man - James Joyce
My "to Read" list is too long for me to bother putting here. Because it is too long for anyone to bother reading.
Useless Information:
If you're interested, I love quotes! Here's a few of my favourites:
"How many legs does a horse have if we call the tail a leg? Four. Calling the tail a leg does not make it one."
Abraham Lincoln
"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you will be a mile away and have his shoes!"
Steve Martin
"God saved me from a lot of things, but not chocolate!"
Cecil Ackerman
I also love music! It is just so beautiful and magical, wouldn't you say? I love classical, beleive it or not, and orchestra. I play piano (though not well) and I love piano music. I also like rock, punk, and stuff too. And I love Disney Soundtracks (like the old school ones, from when Disney was fantastic)! Particularly from the live broadway plays like Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King! I love Lebo M's Lion King stuff, it makes me so happy! (PS: Mental note, must go see Mary Poppins and the Little Mermaid while they are on broadway.) But nothing can really replace my classical and orchestra :)
RANDOM FACT: The average butterknife has 57 ridges.
