About

London, 1600

Elizabeth I of England was the ruler of the time. Sophia and Kenton were members of the court, as their father was part of the Queens group of advisers. They grew up surrounded by wealth and power. Especially Sophia, she craved to be more than just a simple Lady-in-waiting. Keen as she was, she always manages to know everyone’s secrets. Oh but she was young and naïve. One day, she heard about a stranger coming into town… Aleister… Kenton grew found of him, since his own father neglects both him and Sophia. Although Aleister was strange, both in manners and in how he lived his life, he became a strong part of both their life’s.

In a cue to try to kill the Queen, their father was murdered, after being charged for treason. Aleister, not wanting to see them both get hurt or being cast away, took them as their own and moved to Austria.

Time passes, and Kenton found himself curious about the whereabouts of Aleister. He found it odd, the absence of the male during the days, the constant trips into town. The paleness of his skin… Afraid that his new found father was seriously ill, he set motion to a plan to follow Aleister.

One night, after telling his concern’s to Sophia, he followed the male into town. He got inside an old tavern, at the precise moment that Aleister was feeding on a female. Scared at what he saw, he left running towards the mansion. He rampaged through Sophia’s bedroom snatching her out of bed, demanding her to gather her things as they were about to leave such a demons place. In the mist of such a commotion, Sophia trips hitting her head on a corner of the nightstand.

The days passes, and she doesn’t shown signs of getting better. By this point, things between Kenton and Aleister grew difficult. Afraid of the male and of the impending death of Sophia, he felt torn. Aleister wishes to turn Sophia, allowing her to live again… Living death… But how would that appraise her? In a moment of despair, he begs the male for her living death. As he watches his sister slowly turn to the demon Aleister was, Kenton decides he will too suffer the same faith.

Time goes by, and slowly the guilt turns into a delightful death. Emends were done between Aleister and his son and daughter. Life, or what was a synonym of life became something bearable. Kenton had an amazing ability to suppress his needs and lust. Sophia was wild, as the wind could be. He found himself too many times to count, hiding their trails. It was up to him to teach Sophia other ways to surpass her needs and wants.

Soon Kenton feel for a young female, Lillith. Fair and pure… Deep red locks fell along her back. The white creamy skin made her look ethereal. He bounded with her, forgetting all vows he once made that he would not turn another to his own delight. Oh but she… He needed her. By this point Sophia learned to live among the humans, shutting any feeling inside her. To others she was cold, calculist. To her family, she was still that young female that used to dance around the salon, giggling calling for everyone’s attention. She was unable to feel any kind of endearment as her brother felt. Sometimes her family wondered if there would be any male, vampire or not, that could break that ice wall she built around her remains of humanity, around her heart.

Time moves along and it came the day that Kenton decides to tell Lilith about his true self. He felt unable to keep deceiving her as he had been doing so far. He wanted to give her the chance to allow him to make her his… Sophia begged him to let this go. She was scared that this would mean they had to leave the place that she finally considered home. He left the mansion, watching Sophia at the balcony calling for their father.

Sophia’s feeling was right. Lilith was from a witch’s family. None of them, or the town knew about this. Of course, they were rumors, but in a way, everyone with a different view in those days would be consider a demon, a witch… He rode his horse to the hill that so many times before they met. She was already awaiting him. A heavy velvet hood hiding those locks he wanted so much to touch. As he reaches her, he could feel the words trapped on his throat. He starts to doubt if this is the best for her. A sound of horses drew both their attentions to the road. Alleister was next to them the following moment. They argued, so much Kenton was sure he would ban them both. But Sophia was the one to intervene in their favor. If her meant that much to his brother, Lillith would be allowed to enter their family. And so it was, on the following night, Lillith left her family home with only the clothes on her body leaving a simple note of goodbye. They arranged to meet on the same spot at midnight, where Kenton would turn her into his living death.

He arrived and saw her at the top of the hill, and excitement took over his will… He ran to her fantasizing of the life the two would start. But it wasn’t Lillith on her place but her sister, Aurora. She tossed a bloody rag to him yelling that he stained the Morvant name, and he and his family would play in blood. Lillith was dead and blinded with sorrow and rage, Kenton tried to take his revenge at that moment. His efforts were pointless, as from behind a tree he saw Aleister being dragged and murdered in front of him… Sophia would be next, but she managed to escape, dragging Kenton with her.

This evented changed them both deeply… Sophia became colder are more distant then she ever was… Kenton, he was consumed with anger… He left his affairs of state to Sophia and ran from it all… This was when he meets Victor. The bound formed by the two males brought Kenton back to life and put a purpose in his eternity… Revenge should be his, but he needed to me meticulous, careful… The Morvants blood line would parish; he made a blood vow to it.

Kenton came back to Maine with Victor. By that time, Sophia was head of Maine and New York. She was known to be cold but benevolent at the same time. Her brother’s welcome wasn’t easy. She blamed him for everything that happened and for a while, their co-existence was harsh. But with time she soften to him… And to Victor. She found him intriguing, his dark side fascinated him and they found themselves always taunting each other. That didn’t grew to found of Kenton. He didn’t wanted the safe fate he endured on Sophia… The day came Victor needed to go back to Arizona after the tri state agreement was made. Sophia got back to her cold distance self, arguing with Kenton every time she got a chance. He knew the sudden departure of Victor had something to do with it, but he also knew not even under torture would she admit to such a fact. A pack was made between the two. She would get NY, he would keep in Maine. He needed the state… He needed to make sure every Morvant were killed.

And he got his wish. As Sophia departed, he hunted the family member for member. Aurora was the first one. It was a quick death…. He was so blinded with anger he didn’t even enjoyed it. The ones that killed Aleister were next… And with those he took his sweet old time.

The decades passed by, and one by one all of the Morvants fade from Maine… Only one was left… Violet. She was naïve, with a thirst for life and a dread of death. He lured her one night with promises of eternity… And just like that, he took her to his home, making her a blood slave. Always ready for his whims… for his wishes.

Sophia on the other hand was kept in the dark. He loved her too much and knew her too well… If she found out Violet was a Morvant she would take her life without a second though. She still suffered from watching Aleister die in front of her. She kept her distance, making NY a safe place for both Vampires and humans to co exist… but always keeping a close eye on Victor… One day, one of her prisoners escaped and tried to find a sanctuary in Arizona… Not thinking twice, she went to him alone… And the moment she saw him again, she felt the walls around her heart and humanity slowly braking. She wanted him … Badly. Craved for his blood as she craved for the night. The blood bound once formed by them was now consuming her. She could sense no one but him… Crave no one… Desire no one.

As for the future, only one can expect what’s coming in their way…
