I'm Back.

To all my readers. Firstly, thank you all for your patronage. As you can see, I'm back writing content and publishing on Booksie, although with a difference: I am now focusing on short stories and poems. I hope you will enjoy them as much as you have my older work.

Also, please support my partner, Sadhia, who has joined Booksie as well. Here is a link to her page: https://www.booksie.com/users/sadhia-329485, I trust you will enjoy her work too.

About

I was born in Zimbabwe (then Rhodesia). From a very young age, I was exposed to a multitude of books (To date, my father and step-mother own over 800 books between them). As soon as I was old enough, I began to read C.S. Lewis, and later Tolkien. At the age of 6, I wrote my first short story. Although I can't remember the details, I do recall that it won third prize in my age group. This was a surprise as I had been diagnosed with dislexia just before this. I have always had a soft-spot for fantasy, but unusual true stories also interest me. One in particular struck me when I was about 14 (I won't spoil it because this will probably be my first submission).

I have tried to publish on other sites, but - unless you are already an established writer - you have to stand in line, and on some of these sites, the line is LONG! In any case, that book took me 13 years to write! That's why I turned to writing short-stories. Publishing hard-copy nowadays is also a schlepp because of the costs involved, and with the digital media, paper seems a bit old fashioned.

As a warm-blooded male, and a Leo at that, I also like stories that are on the more steamy side. Hey - Variety is the spice of life, and the spicier the better I say.

I have also opened a new page on Subscribestar for my audio books. The link is: https://www.subscribestar.com/tristan-biggs.
