"A lot of wisdom in this poem. Great rhyming."
The thriving mind will seek to paint
with cheerish hue, remiss to taint
glee with worry, and ferver with doubt
and if, the mind, we talk about
an optimist might yet be shown
how the rosen psyche will tend to hone
a sliver of doubt, tucked in one's coat
prone to stab you in the throat
Take heed that those you seek to cherish
will not, by your own love, perish
It is oft enough, with eyes to see
you'll glimpse grudging eternity
to yearn is to breath, beside another
and yet by wanting to want, you may smother
